**Organization:**
SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley
**Position Overview:**
Assure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), and other state privacy laws and the organization's privacy policies and procedures. Responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of regulatory, investigative, and educational based projects as an integral member of Sutter Health's privacy program; conducts investigations on regulatory matters and concerns; and is responsible for drafting and responding to regulatory inquiries. Lead the incident response and significant regulatory responses and ensure that industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements are met. Oversee investigations, ensure proper incident documentation and will monitor key elements of the privacy program including ensuring implementation of training programs for members of the workforce.

Bachelor's in Healthcare, Business, Legal, or related field
**CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:**
CHPC-Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance within 1 Year of hire
**TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:**
5 years of recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
