Job Title: Regulatory & Product Safety Associate
Location: Onsite – Rockland County, NY (commutable from Pearl River NY , Orangeburg NY, Bergen County NJ, Northern NJ; occasional travel to Oradell, NJ)

Skill Requirements:
Education: BA/BS degree in the natural sciences, chemistry, toxicology, or a related field
Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience Safety Data Sheets (SDS) experience is a MUST Basic knowledge of chemicals Understanding of CFAs and raw materials Familiarity with basic regulatory concepts Pluses: (Not required but a plus) Prior work experience in the consumer products industry Experience with safety assessment for Drugs (OTC/NDA), Biocides, Cosmetics, or Cleaning Products Background in consumer or healthcare product industries
Duties & Responsibilities: Support assigned projects and existing product portfolio by clearing raw materials and final formulae to ensure consumer safety and regulatory compliance Review current products for compliance with evolving US and Canadian regulatory/product safety requirements for Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Disinfectants/Biocides, OTC/NDA Drugs, and general cleaners Respond to customer inquiries about raw materials and formulae used in the product portfolio Coordinate with R&D teams and suppliers to author and maintain accurate, timely Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Consult with internal stakeholders and external consultants to define product safety needs and timelines for new product initiatives based on regulatory positioning
