Regulatory Readiness & Outreach Analyst

Join Barclays as a Regulatory Readiness & Outreach Analyst. You will support a global team responsible for onboarding new clients in alignment with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing BAU regulatory and legal tasks associated with new client onboarding across the US and EMEA. You will engage with various business areas such as Markets, Banking/RSG, Prime, Middle Office, Legal, and Operations to ensure compliance with regulations including MiFID, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and the US Patriot Act. Ideal candidates should have regulatory experience, strong communication skills, a team-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.

To be successful one should have experience with below:

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, US Patriot Act).

• Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder interaction.

This role is based out of Whippany, NJ.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
