Regulatory Reporting Analyst

About the role
This role requires being in office in Atlanta.
This role is a part of Regulatory Reporting and handles the more complex projects. The role requires a high level of analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
What you need to know
+ Communicate with statistical agents, state boards, bureaus, and departments of insurance.
+ Stay informed of any changes/additions to regulatory requirements and ensure that they are implemented timely.
+ Responsible for completing assigned, scheduled, regulatory reports/data to statistical agents as well as state and federal insurance departments and other bureaus accurately and on time.
+ Constantly review workflows and procedures and recommend/implement changes to improve processes.
+ Address promptly, any issues/inquiries from regulators, and work with underwriting and systems area as needed to respond appropriately.
+ Proactively review data distributions for potential data quality issues and take steps to resolve quickly.
What we’re looking for
+ 2+ years of work experience.
+ Insurance or financial work experience preferred.
+ Previous Regulatory Reporting experience helpful but not required.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on either MS Acess or Excel.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Self-motivated, ability to multitask.
+ Ability to streamline and automate existing processes.
+ Ability to identify priorities and act accordingly.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
