To join us for a summer Internship! CLEAResult is a consulting firm that designs and implements energy efficiency programs nationwide. This position supports our Central Region team serving 22 states across the Midwest and South. A successful candidate will work closely with our Policy, Design & Evaluation team, Engineering teams and divisional leadership.
This hybrid role requires you to be in the office in Austin, TX, one day a week, with the possibility of additional days for working sessions as needed.

Conduct research on state and federal regulatory and/or policy changes impacting the energy and utilities industry Attend policy-related meetings as needed and report out on findings to leadership Source and analyze utility filings to provide detailed written briefs to our Policy, Design & Evaluation team, engineering teams, business development teams, and/or operations teams Research and track state and federal funding sources related to energy efficiency, clean energy transition, electrification, EV, and utility-related workforce development Work in cross-functional teams to review evaluation findings and support opportunities to share best practices and improve
Exciting candidates are…
Pursuing a degree in environmental studies & policy, environmental law, economics & policy, sustainability or similar majors Active enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2025 Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (Early June through early August) reporting into our Austin, Texas offices 1 day week Based in the Austin Metro area Interested and ambitions to work in fast-paced energy efficiency industry Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience using Microsoft Office products Interested in an opportunity to be considered for promotion to a full-time position after the internship has been completed
