Citibank, N.A. seeks a Regulatory Risk Manager for its New York, NY location.
Duties: Build sustainable, repeatable, and automated analytics on the Model results and Discretionary Adjustments and Factors which result in Final Risk Rating. The analytics cover historical trends and relevant monitoring metrics (heat-maps). Review consistency of all components related to lifecycle of risk rating methodologies, including model submission, ongoing performance monitoring of limitations, compensating controls and enhancement plan of wholesale risk rating models and scorecards. Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Credit, Business, Modeling, Model Risk Management (MRM) and Model Sponsors to address identified issues. Contribute to create strong analytics and financial analysis to support reporting metrics, trend analysis on Ratings. Work with the various project leads and other stakeholders to drive the various sub initiatives / project activities under related to Ratings. Participate in Workstream portfolio deep dives, supporting the team for various initiatives taken to enhance model frameworks in response to Regulatory or Self- Identified feedback. Partner and support with the Wholesale Workstream Model Risk Management Liaison for Wholesale Ratings. Oversee the wholesale workstream model inventory, quarterly documentation requirements, model deficiency remediation and MRM system liaison spanning the different Initiatives. Assist in the development of model and non-model assumptions, sensitivities and testing the various component of Ratings. Provide support in the development and documentation of qualitative management adjustments deliverables. Coordinate start to end processes such as End User Computing and monitoring of Risk Controls, define requirements and management of various technical model related documentation. Develop an issue remediation process that will be used to proactively oversee the timely remediation and closure of rating remediation plans. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Three (3) years of experience must include: Working with Model Risk Management (MRM) and model development best practices and workstreams to provide effective challenge and response to requests; Repurposing or writing original code in R, Python or SAS to conduct credit risk analytics; Translating End User Computing (EUC) processes into Python; and Creating tables and data visualizations through the Tableau platform for reporting and analytics purposes.
