Regulatory Risk Officer
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Regulatory Risk Officer for its Irving, Texas location. Duties: Use credit risk management methodologies to develop, enhance, and validate credit risk strategies and policies for consumer lending business and integrate proposed changes into business decisions and planning across credit lifecycle. Conduct risk analytics using risk models and statistical methods. Oversee model development, validation, and deployment efforts. Analyze risk patterns, define risk segmentations, and incorporate them into risk management strategies and customer treatment programs, including credit exposure management and account closure strategies and policies. Calculate and use risk-return metrics such as Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT), Net Income, Return on Tangible Common Equity (ROTCE), Risk Appetite Ratio (RAR) to conduct business strategy impact analysis based on risk-return metrics. Update, document, and communicate credit risk strategy changes with review and approval by Independent Risk Management. Conduct impact analyses of updated risk segment definitions in credit strategy decision making. Provide business requirements to incorporate risk segmentations into risk execution and oversight platforms. Identify key controls for incorporation into activity risk control monitoring and control assessments. Use SAS and SQL programming to work with large datasets and complex algorithms to solve data science challenges. Implement risk business solutions into Data Warehouses and risk production systems. Build data analytical and visualization tools to inform credit risk management decisions enabling quantitative risk analysis for leadership consideration. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Financial Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst, Data Science Analyst or related position or related position involving credit risk management for the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Credit risk management methodologies; SAS and SQL programming; Statistical modeling and risk analytics; Risk return metrics: Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis using risk-return metrics such as Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) and Net income; Risk business solutions implementation; and Data analytics and visualization.
