MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work, regulatory work, consumer complaint program work, interviewing, business administration, customer or public relations, or investigations can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which equals four (4) years can substitute for the above requirements.

Foreign trained graduates utilizing a degree attained outside of the United States to meet the minimum requirements of a position must be prepared to provide a copy of a credential evaluation conducted by an Approved Credential Evaluation Agency. This position has regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of s. 112.313, Florida Statues 60L-36.003, Florida Administrative Code.

JOB DUTIES:
Review applications to determine eligibility for licensure, certification, or registration. Evaluate applications for completeness and compliance with applicable requirements for licenses issued under Chapter 482, F.S., and Rule 5E-14, F.A.C.
Perform reviews and evaluations in accordance with established policies and procedures. Prepare and issue licenses and renewals.
Update, transmit, retrieve, and change information to records in applicable data bases. Perform these activities in accordance with established policies and procedures and with designated databases. Input examination results, continuing education records, license status, and dates of issuance and renewal.
Verify fee payments and review and evaluate that all documents required for new and renewal applications are complete. Perform these activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Communicate verbally and in writing with licensees and applicants to provide accurate information on licensing requirements and to resolve problems.
Answer inquiries from public and applicants regarding certification, licensure and registrations.
Provide reports as required on activities.
Perform other duties as required.
