POSITION OVERVIEWAs the Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand Regulatory Stewardship Specialist, you will be involved in a wide range of areas from supporting integration activities for new business acquisitions to providing regulatory guidance in support of new product development efforts. The successful candidate will have established experience with product regulatory compliance while managing the complexities of a growing business. This person will be required to partner effectively with global teams including research scientists, product development engineers, marketing professionals, and commercial leaders to prioritize work, as necessary. The candidate must be capable of independent work but also able to work with multifunctional teams. In addition, the successful candidate must maintain current knowledge of regulatory trends that may affect H.B. Fuller or our customers’ markets.
PRIMARY DUTIESThis individual will be involved in a variety of regulatory activities, including:
Authoring (Material) Safety Data Sheets using current H.B. Fuller Asia Pacific systems and processes to meet GHS requirements.Participating with industry groups and regulatory authorities within SEA and ANZ to understand and influence regulatory changes.Anticipating and communicating regulatory changes that would impact Product Stewardship risks for existing products as well as new products.Administrating document repositories for multiple groups and business partners. Manage the chemical regulation in the specific industries and focus markets where we conduct businesses. Review our products accordingly to make sure the products are compliant to the specific industry regulation and/or requirement.Providing support and guidance to Product Stewardship functions, business leaders and technology developers, regarding all aspects of product stewardship including product compliance, material and product safety, and product footprint.Managing multiple priorities concurrently and setting priorities to meet customer and business demands in a fast-changing, results-oriented environment.Liaising with the regulatory and product safety departments of strategic customers, studying their internal clearance processes, and delighting customers via personal and friendly regulatory support.Responding to a wide variety of customer’s regulatory compliance questions. These questions may be in response to government agency regulations within SEA and ANZ; non-government organization requirements; or specific customer requirements. Some will be complex multi-regulation documents and come in a variety of customer formats.Working with Product Managers and sharing voice of customer information.Coordinating communications/short trainings to the sales, tech service, and other business team members.Developing relationships in a collaborative manner with global regulatory colleagues in the European Union, Americas, and Asia Pacific.Support and maintain our ERP system.EMPLOYEES SUPERVISEDNone

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Health related field with a Chemistry foundation and a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience or M.S. with +1 years’ experienceKnowledge/experience on SEA and ANZ and/or global chemical regulations.Language Requirements: Fluent in English Self-motivated, proactive and confident.
