UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a REHAB AIDE to join our team on a per diem basis. This is a per diem position, located in Geneva NY. You are hired to work as needed, there are no set hours. This is a great opportunity for someone in the medical field seeking additional hours or for someone seeking to gain experience within a rehab or medical setting. Our Rehab Aide offers a vital service to our patients and staff which helps serve our community better! + + POSITION SUMMARY: + Under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, the Rehab Aide assists therapists and nursing staff with the provision of rehabilitative care for a variety of patients. He/She contributes to the plan of care through participation on the interdisciplinary team. + QUALIFICATIONS: + EDUCATION: + Minimum: + High school diploma or GED. + LICENSE: + PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: + WORK EXPERIENCE: + Preferred: + One to two years in a rehab setting. + SKILLS: + Minimum : + Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. + Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. + Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. + Preferred : + Medical Terminology course completion.
