England We are a Level Trauma Center that provides cutting edge treatment to its patients This is made possible by being home to the largest robotic surgery center in the Northeast and the Center for Education Simulation and Innovation CESI one of the most advanced medical simulation training centers in the world When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care expertise and new treatment options their patients require they turn to usCome join a leader in rehabilitation and orthopedic carePosition DescriptionThe Rehabilitation Aide provides safe and appropriate basic patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist As a member of the rehabilitation team the Rehabilitation Aide supports a safe and positive patient experience by assisting in the delivery of care and performing delegated multi skilled basic patient care services The Rehabilitation Aide provides support and assistance to licensed Rehabilitation Therapists in areas such as but not limited to mobility ADLs Activities of Daily Living movement and ambulation and positioning In addition they may provide support to licensed Rehabilitation Therapists in areas such as therapeutic exercise programs group exercise programs mobility volunteer aide program and swallowing studiesThis role contributes to the successful operation of the work area and functions in required Customer service experience and computer literacy requiredPatient carerehab aide experience highly preferred Minimum of year work experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred Certified or Non Certified Nursing Support experience preferredCNA HHA PCT CPR validation may be required within months of hire depending upon work area specific requirement Must be able to physically
