Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

Responsible for providing support for patient care and carrying out therapeutic activities as directed by the Therapist in a team environment consistent with professional and ethical standards.

Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to performance improvement activities as applicable, problem solving, and productivity.

Employment Qualifications

High school graduate and/or GED required.Experience working with adult and geriatric populations is desirable.Experience working in a hospital or other health care setting is desirable.Current BLS certification required or obtained within ninety days of completing new employee orientation

Essential Job Functions

Provide patient care support to clinician(s).Demonstrate proficiency documenting in the electronic medical record as applicable.Report patient response to interventions to clinician(s).Prepare treatment areas.Transport patients to and from activities as needed.Observe all applicable safety processes and procedures.Clean therapeutic equipment.Perform clerical tasks
