center in the Northeast and the Center for Education Simulation and Innovation CESI one of the most advanced medical simulation training centers in the world When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care expertise and new treatment options their patients require they turn to usPosition DescriptionThe SLP Rehabilitation Aide provides safe and appropriate basic patient care under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist As a member of the rehabilitation team the Rehabilitation Aide supports a safe and positive patient experience by assisting in the delivery of care and performing delegated multi skilled basic patient care servicesThe Rehabilitation Aide provides support and assistance to licensed Speech Language Pathologists in areas such as but not limited to swallowing studies speech and language therapy and communication support In addition they may provide support to licensed Rehabilitation Therapists in areas such as therapeutic exercise programs group exercise programs and mobility volunteer aide programThis role contributes to the successful operation of the work area and functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and company standards policies
