ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
DIRECT PATIENT CARE:
? Serve as a clinician and complete the responsibilities required of their respective clinical job description
OPERATIONS:
? Ensure quality clinical care and outcomes for patients with assistance of Rehab Site Lead(s).
? Attain goal visits for each clinic and area.
? Attain goal referrals for each clinic and area.
? Attain attendance rate of 85% for each clinic and the area.
? Ensure clinicians are appropriately productive and clinics are staffed to meet the needs of the business and
physician expectations.
? Oversee and coordinate (designating as appropriate) the development, blocking and/or modifying of clinician
templates of all responsible facilities and staff to meet operational and financial goals.
? Determine the time required weekly at each additional clinic under his or her responsibility. (Ex. With two clinics
consider hours in home clinic and 4 or 6 hours with additional clinic). Hours spent with additional clinic(s) will be
for clinic assessment, meetings & 1:1’s, clinic mentoring, physician marketing, etc. and determined individually
with Rehab Director.
FINANCIAL:
? Achieve clinic and area level revenue, operational, and financial goals.
? Work with Rehab Site Leads and front office leader(s) to oversee front desk operations in each facility to achieve
company and front desk goals.
? Assist in preparation of annual budget and plan for each facility in assigned area and work together with each Site
Leader to develop their clinic’s plan.
? Review and advise monthly clinic metrics with direct reports and management team.
HUMAN RESOURCES:
? Work directly with the Human Resources department for proper execution and oversight of Human Resourcesrelated issues in the assigned area.
? Recruit, interview, and hire staff members with assistance of Rehab Site Lead and guidance from Director (as
required).
? Orientate new employees, including Rehab Clinician orientation and training, site specific policies, and
coordinating introductions and shadowing with site’s Physicians & APPs.
? Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage with Site Leads for assigned facilities.
? Complete payroll and accounts payable responsibilities for assigned facilities.
COMMUNICATION & TEAM BUILDING
? Coach, mentor, counsel, and conduct performance reviews of supervising staff with assistance of Site Lead.
? Lead/participate in regular clinic, area and company-level meetings (Town Hall, Diversity meetings, etc.).
? Facilitate a positive and cooperative work environment amongst the rehab employees within the area.
? Assist the Site Lead with supervising, coaching and counseling the rehabilitation staff, including feedback to
employees to compliment or address behaviors, and annual performance evaluations
MANAGERIAL:
? Responsible for ensuring that all regulatory standards are adhered to within their respective clinic.
? Schedule and facilitate departmental staff meetings and participate in interdepartmental meetings.
? Oversee the inventory and ordering of supplies, including appropriate coding and submission of clinic invoices to
accounts payable.
? Assist in rectification of external and internal complaints from appropriate facilities.
? Address and educate staff regarding patient perceptions of care, compliments, and complaints.
? Ensures a safe and secure workplace complying with all Resurgens safety policies and OSHA regulations, i.e.,
annual fire drill, employee education, security updates, etc.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
? Assess financial data for the clinic and make appropriate clinic adjustments that demonstrate fiscal responsibility,
with assistance of Director as required.
? Oversee payment and petty cash balance activities ensuring integrity of processes.
? Actively work with Rehab PAR to ensure optimal clinic reimbursement.
? Maintain internal controls and monitors the facilities revenue cycle process for the successful revenue
achievement.
? Validate annual chart audits and reviews performance with clinicians at facilities regarding documentation
performance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 1-4 Rehab Site Leads and the employees under them in the designated rehabilitation facilities.
Number will vary depending on size of area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Resurgens’s
policies and all applicable laws.
RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? Degree from an appropriately accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Athletic Training program
? Active Georgia, and/or National licensure in specified discipline (Athletic Trainer, Physical or Occupational
Therapist) permitting them to work in this state
? Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a rehabilitation provider preferred
SKILLS/ABILITIES
? Knowledge of budgeting principles and interpretation of financial data
? Basic working knowledge of Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
? Effective verbal and written communication skills
? Capacity to make independent decisions after gathering information from available sources
? Successfully deal with conflict constructively and seek resolution with those involved
? Ability to set goals and expectations and execute the plan to achieve them
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to utilize standard office equipment including
computers, keyboards, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc. While performing the duties of this job, employee
is regularly required to sit, stand for extended periods, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employee
may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The physical requirements of this position
generally require a medium physical demand level, but due to outpatient healthcare setting, may involve patient transfers
with team lifting up to 100+ pounds. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and or carrying objects
weighing up to 25 pounds, and constant lifting of neligible to 10 pound objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
