Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute is a state-of-the-art, 38-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. We are currently looking for a NJ licensed Therapist to fulfill the role of Therapy Manager.

The selected candidate is responsible for assisting the Director of Therapy Services with the ongoing assessment and improvement of Therapy Services. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the department, but also the integration of the department into the overall functioning of the Hospital and its clinical programs.

What you will do in this role:

Able to make an appropriate assessment on all patients regarding therapy requested; observe and evaluate treatments effectively; recommend change to physician if neededDemonstrate knowledge of all rehabilitation services modalities; formulate a teaching plan based on the learning needs involving the family as appropriate, and evaluate the effectiveness of the learningAble to assess patients pain which interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact physician for appropriate interventionOversee scheduling of treatments and maintain productivity standardsComply with departmental inspectionsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Language PathologyCurrent NJ professional licensure in good standingTwo years of experience as a treating therapist Inpatient and leadership experience preferred
