About the Role


You will be primarily responsible for the development of executable work packages, and related planning documentation, based on the requirements of the WAIO’s rehabilitation strategy and each sites progressive closure plan. You will gain considerable experience by engaging with internal rehabilitation/closure and planning stakeholders, as well as external contractors executing work packages.

 

Provides technical expertise in closure planning activities and multi-disciplinary closure projects/studies Develop high-quality rehabilitation packages of work and cost estimates and provide technical rehabilitation expertise to operational sites and projects implementing those plans Communication and engagement with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure alignment and clear instruction Monitoring of the execution of work packages with respect to budget, schedule, and quality Ensuring that risks in plans or designs are proactively identified, mitigated, and where required adequately controlled Support the acquisition and reporting of rehabilitation performance data meeting key internal and external requirements, and support tracking of performance against key performance indicators About You

 

As the successful candidate you will possess the following: 

 

Diverse experience in mining operations Ability to effectively influence and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve required outcomes Skilled in GIS (required) and Mine Planning Software (highly desirable) Microsoft Package: Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Specialist knowledge in rehabilitation, within a large-scale mining context (desirable) Qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
