The Rehabilitation Services department at St. Jude is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to patients and their families. We are seeking a driven and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support rehabilitation professionals as they provide care to patients and contribute to the daily operations of the clinic. Individuals with experience working alongside audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists are encouraged to apply. Responsible for assisting with coordinated treatment plans of care and ensuring the physical environment is safe and clean. Maintain close communication with patients, families, and staff to ensure patient needs are met. Job Responsibilities: Assist in procedures and tasks within Rehabilitation Services under guidance (e.g., routine test administration, documentation, procedure preparation assistance). Coordinate with Rehabilitation Services team members to implement evaluations and treatments. Operate and maintain equipment, secure quotes for new equipment, and coordinate equipment repair as directed. Maintain inventory of materials/supplies. Sterilize therapeutic equipment and materials/supplies after use and maintain cleanliness of service areas. Assist with the creation and distribution of home exercise programs and other resource material. Facilitate setting up educational activities and in-services. Manage transportation for offsite appointments. Assist with scheduling and preparing records or reports as directed. Minimum Education and/or Training: High School Diploma/GED. CPR certification. Minimum Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience as a rehabilitation technician preferred. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software preferred. Knowledge of rehabilitation service lines (audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology) preferred. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
