Rehabilitative Services Aide (PRN), Florence Neurosurgery & Spine

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

 

1.  Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians,  

     and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values

2.  Assists clinicians with patient treatment under direct supervision of the appropriate licensed personnel

3.  Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of shared equipment according to hospital policy

4.  Performs routine clerical duties consisting of, but not limited to, supply ordering, charge entry, general 

     secretarial duties, based on the needs of the specific department

5.  Prepares patient and treatment areas ensuring adequate, necessary supplies 

6.  Attends departmental inservices and staff meetings

7.  Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patient, self, and staff, including but not limited to,

     Personal Protective Equipment, Mobility equipment, Universal Precautions.

8.  Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, visitors

     and employees by projecting an attitude of flexibility and positivity to benefit the team and patient

9. Insures patient confidentiality through the proper maintenance of Protected Health Information

10. Utilizes Service Excellence Standards throughout the hospital and outlying programs by taking ownership of

      customer needs and handling customer complaints promptly and effectively using the service recovery 

      approach

11. Performs other unspecified tasks as deemed necessary by the department director/supervisor, in order to  

      accomplish the adequate operation of the department

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications /Training:

Less than one year of related work experience.

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) BLS
