Reinsurance and Compliance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Reinsurance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage reinsurance, sales, accounting, and legal administrative duties, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work for a growing company with room for professional development.

ResponsibilitiesManage reinsurance, sales, accounting, and legal administrative duties, including maintaining records and processing new business.Handle accounting activities such as billing statements, premium accounting, collections, and cash flow management.Review and update contracts related to reinsurance.Underwrite FAC and Treaty contracts from a General Conditions and Legal Perspective.Perform account reconciliations as needed.Oversee key MGA accounts.Review company records to ensure correct issuance and intent of products.Deliver professional customer service via phone calls, emails, and client visits, including oral presentations.Manage and verify data in the REOS System.Prepare and reconcile claims bordereaux.Essential SkillsExperience in reinsurance, KYC, and compliance.Proficiency in claims processing and reconciliation.Strong accounting skills, including billing, collections, and cash flow management.Knowledge of property and casualty insurance.Experience in legal administrative tasks and sales.Familiarity with general ledger and financial statements.Audit and finance experience.Month-end closing processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Property & Casualty claims adjudication and reporting.Ability to receive and log claim notifications.Manage claims for status and completion.Maintain claim logs and reporting.Communicate and report claims with underwriting agencies.Input paid and notified claims into the REOS system.Maintain cash flow management for all reinsurers.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
