Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesAssists in the development of treaty structure design, ensuring appropriate cost and effective coverage.Communicates with broker and handles direct reinsurance activity.Assists with setting contract wording standards.  Administers reinsurance contracts and prepares reinsurance proposals.Monitors treaty loss activity and determines appropriate actions/notifications.Coordinates reinsurance audits.Provides technical advice to lower level positions and other functional areas.May lead the work of others (mentors, prioritizes, delegates, and reviews assignments).May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Field of Study: Business, Accounting or related discipline.Experience: Generally, 8 to 10 years of related experience.  Associate in Reinsurance Program (ARE) preferred.  Requires significant knowledge of reinsurance guidelines and procedures.
