Mérida

Purpose of the Position:

Maintain the necessary social license for the construction of the expansion of Mayakan pipeline, ensuring compliance with the social investments results of the Prior, Free and Informed Consultation in a timely and properly manner.

 

 Responsabilities and Job Functions:

 

 

 1

Develop and implement external communication strategies with main key social stakeholders in order to maintain the social licenses for the construction phase of the expansion of Mayakan’s pipeline. Specially with all the indigenous and not indigenous communities impacted by the project.

Ensure the compliance of the social topics related to the Equator Principle’s to comply with stakeholders. Identify the social risks associated to the project and develop the mitigation action plan’s in order to mitigate them.

Work with Sustainability, HR, finance, operations, public affairs, government relations to ensure integrated communications planning and execution for the expansion of Mayakan’s pipeline. Successful implementation of the local suppliers development program.

Ensure the compliance with the social investments in a timely and properly manner considering: Health & Safety, Quality, Compliance, Environmental, Logistics and Procurement process and procedures to comply with the commitments made according to the Free, Prior and Informed Consultation.

Guarantee the compliance of all the social investments accordingly to the contracts signed with CFE and ENGIE’s ethic principles. Generate the reporting and presentations needed.

Ocupational Profile:

Bachelor’s Degree required; Administration, Public Management, International Relations, Sociologist.
