Our firm currently serves 400 families through our managed account business with $200 million in assets under management, and we maintain product relationships with an additional 1,300 families.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Relationship Center Advisor to join our Insight Planning Group at Thrivent. As a Relationship Center Advisor, you will play a vital role in developing and strengthening relationships with clients who have managed accounts. This position focuses on providing exceptional service to clients, ensuring their financial goals are met, and fostering long-term relationships that align with our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Client Engagement: Meet with existing managed account clients to assess their financial needs, goals, and objectives. Engage in regular proactive outreach to ensure clients' needs are being met and expectations exceeded, demonstrating how we "Be Caring" in all client interactions.
+ Relationship Development: Build and deepen relationships with clients, providing personalized financial advice and guidance in a way that aligns with their values, goals, and financial circumstances. Embody our "Be Real" value by maintaining authentic and transparent communication.
+ Financial Solutions: Work collaboratively with clients to develop customized financial strategies, offering solutions that help them manage their investments, savings, and retirement goals. Stay updated on financial products and services to offer the most relevant options, showing how we "Be Hungry" for continuous improvement.
+ Account Management: Maintain and grow our managed account business by identifying new opportunities for account expansion. Ensure that clients' managed accounts are optimized and align with their evolving financial needs.
+ Collaboration: Partner with other members of the Insight Planning Group, financial planners, and investment professionals to deliver holistic financial plans and comprehensive solutions to clients, demonstrating our "Be Generous" value through teamwork.
+ Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures related to financial advising and managed accounts.
+ Client Retention: Deliver exceptional service to retain clients and increase client satisfaction, aiming to grow assets under management through referrals and relationship expansion, using the EOS framework to track and achieve these goals.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing role, ideally in financial services, investment management, or a similar field.
+ Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Ability to present complex financial information in an understandable and approachable manner.
+ Licensing: FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe) are preferred. State-specific licenses may also be required.
+ Knowledge: Solid understanding of managed accounts, investments, and financial planning concepts.
