As a Relationship Manager within the Mid-Cap Financial Sponsors Group coverage team, you will have the opportunity to be a key player in a rapidly growing business, where your skills and expertise will be valued and utilized to build strong relationships and provide financial advice to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with senior members of Financial Sponsors Group, sector coverage and product bankers to prospect, pitch and execute transactions on behalf of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.Lead client meetings and drafting sessions; Analyze business plans and participate in due diligence sessionsExamine the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing purposesPlay an active role in the execution of mandated deals through client advisory work, the structuring and negotiation of legal documents and the coordination of distribution. Prepare presentations to sponsor clients to support business development.Develop relationships with clients to augment an overall JPMorgan Chase relationship and to build tactical dialogue around specific targeted opportunitiesCoordinate with product partners across the firm to maximize coordination in Sponsor coverage effort.Perform portfolio reviews of sponsor clients to assess new opportunities across various products and summarize key findings in presentations.Manage internal processes related to coverage efforts and information/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking. Work closely with internal support departments to ensure seamless deal closing and funding. Assist with the development of the Associates and Analysts on the team.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
7+ years related experience working with private equity firms in Financial Sponsors, Investment Banking &/or Commercial BankingPartner with senior members of Financial Sponsors Group, sector coverage and product bankers to prospect, pitch and execute transactions on behalf of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
