Job Description
The position of Relationship Manager within the Nordics region, is responsible for a number of State Street strategic clients based in the Nordics.
As part of the remit, the Relationship Manager will cultivate a deep understanding of the client’s business and the services provided by State Street, with the objective of optimizing client satisfaction, ensuring that the client experiences a best of breed service at State Street while identifying and driving new business opportunities to close.
The RM will both lead and collaborate with their Sales counterpart in commercial negotiations, and will ensure compliance with contract terms. The RM will also assist in analyzing and managing the client P&L, and will oversee relationship financials.

Responsibilities
Represent State Street to senior level executives at client companies in the Nordic region, and other clients as required
Strengthen and deepen relationships with our clients. Deliver constant monitoring of the client’s perception of the quality of our services (NPS score), partner with business leads to maintain strong focus on client service and requirements
Drive cohesive coordination of State Street Services to the client between client delivery, product groups, regional teams, sales staff and the client to deliver our solutions to the client
Generate new revenue opportunities from existing and prospective client base using State Street’s entire product range to achieve group revenue targets, introducing to relevant STT entities for commercial progression
Initially lead new business opportunities and ensure collaborative and cooperative behaviour amongst cross-regional, business deal teams and corporate functions, ahead of contracting entities completing sales process
Help the appropriate STT entity manage the negotiation and their execution of client contracts
Prepare account plans and delivers business overviews to internal stakeholders for assigned client(s) to include but not limited to pipeline, trending, and year over year analysis
Maintain all relevant data for their assigned accounts in SF360 CRM including but not limited to account information, contacts, opportunities, meetings, current providers insights, and campaigns
Manage the negotiation and execution of client contracts
Serve as an escalation point for critical service issues or roadblocks, proactively own issues through to resolution
Assist with client presentation preparation, client meetings, product collaboration, RFPs and sales execution
Develop and report on client(s) metrics and dashboards. Accountable for meeting assigned KPIs
Manage the finalization of Due Diligence Questionnaires for this client when received
Serve as the interface for compliance, regulatory, reputational matters between clients and State Street
Demonstrate commitment to AML risk excellence through the timely completion of the firm’s “know your customer” due diligence requirements, including regular periodic and event driven reviews
Escalate proactively material issues and unusual activity that might have an impact on the management of financial crime risk on an ongoing basis as well as at the time of client’s periodic and event driven reviews
Maintain role-specific knowledge of the current anti-money laundering and financial crime risks and issues affecting your business through training and communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or the equivalent. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings, with all levels within the client organization – from Executive Leadership to Operational points of contact.
Ability to gain an understanding of client business, challenges and strategic direction and subsequently articulate value proposition for new products and solutions.
10+ years of total work experience preferred with Financial Services experience in Relationship Management/ Sales, Sales Management or Client Service.
Proven ability to earn client trust and develop relationships (internal and external)
Deep knowledge of Financials services industry
Preference for Nordics experience
