Overview

East West Bank is looking for a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. This role is to champion commercial banking business activities in the commercial banking segment with an aim to deepen and broaden relationships. Qualified individual must work well within a team environment, be a self-starter and collaborates closely with internal partners to deliver customer solutions.

Responsibilities Actively prospects new customers and penetrates the existing client relationships.Assumes the overall responsibility to conduct due diligence, assess the risks and structure the credit facilities.Performs the client portfolio risk management and monitoring to ensure each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.Prepares credit proposals, conducts regular credit reviews and monitors credit quality.Cross-sells treasure services, trade finance, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, wealth management and other services to the existing clients and prospects.Works closely with internal stakeholders in particular the partners in EWB Greater China teams to explore and develop business opportunities. Structures cross-border solutions including but not limited to global credits, treasury management, trade and FX solutions.Facilitates cross-border transactions by giving support and advice to internal partners regarding the relevant regulatory updates of China and solutions.Provides cross-border market intelligence and insight to assist with the internal solution/product development.Stays actively in the community events and trade organizations to promote EWB brandPerforms other duties and special projects as needed Qualifications University degree preferredMinimum of 10 years relationship management and sales experience in the commercial banking fieldWell versed in market dynamics in mainland China and the US. Having experience in dealing with mainland corporate customersHigh level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customersExcellent good communication and interpersonal skillsHighly self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $160,000.00/Yr.
