Relationship Manager
General Description: Responsible for overall client relationship management with focus on client satisfaction, retention, and supporting the sales process. Provide support to clients on Plan design, compliance, and special projects. 
Responsibilities:• Manage service quality and retention of assigned client book of business. Utilize various USIGC services, including Direct Solutions, actuarial, OPEB, DC Consulting, etc. • Establish client expectations and adjust as needed.• Coordinate education campaigns for assigned clients, demonstrating employee value and promote plan participation. Present compliance-approved retirement education materials.• Assist with coordination of conference logistics. Includes managing the conference table and responding to product questions. • Serve as lead in the establishment of new assigned clients and new business implementation for retirement plans.• Manage conversion of assigned new business following department protocols. Lead transition meetings and conference calls for clients and related entities.• Research and gather required information on prospective clients in preparation for finalist meetings.   Participate in meetings and deliver website demonstrations to prospects and clients.• Track progress on projects to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.• Coordinate timely preparation and execution of required plan documentation. Includes USICG, USI Securities, USI Investment Advisors, and the Plan’s trustee/custodian.• Work with USICG Marketing team to develop client-specific materials. Includes flyers, brochures, and announcements. Address unique client needs and plan provisions.• Manage client-related travel to control and report expenses. Effectively utilize company resources per company policy.• Consult with clients on financial and operational performance of their plans. Work with the Investment Advisory team to recommend improvements or alternatives when appropriate.• Participate in the documentation and completion of special projects for the clients.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• 3 years + business experience. Retirement consulting experience preferred.• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, accounting, business, finance, or human resources.• FINRA Series 65 and 6 preferred.• Business travel to client meetings required.• Strong technical ability with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to meet all client deliverables requiring extended working hours during certain periods.• Ability to demonstrate general business acumen.• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, team environment.• Ability to creatively and proactively problem solve, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
