Job Summary:
The Global Nexis Solutions Relationship Manager is responsible for managing, protecting and growing revenue through the sale of LexisNexis – Nexis Solutions products and content to existing customers from various industries within an assigned territory/set of accounts.
Accountabilities:
+ Deliver account retention and positive renegotiation rates through proactive and strategic negotiation and building strong business relationships with key decision makers.
+ Deliver Cross-sell growth in assigned territory through account development actions and partnership with Business Development Managers.
+ Full adoption and optimization of critical tools and processes designed to enable sales success including meeting all deadlines and deliverables. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Nexis Solutions products, content and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators and our value proposition.
+ Conduct appropriate product demonstrations and client presentations.
+ Support product and market strategy development by providing market-specific insight and influence to ensure maximum in-Market impact.
Skills and Technical Competencies:
+ Working knowledge on MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Familiarity with Sales Tools (ClearSlide, DocuSign, Salesforce, etc.)
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to an executive-level audience
+ Strong negotiation, objection handling and time management skills
Qualifications:
+ 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a high-volume sales organization or in a business to business environment (inside sales account management or territory sales)
+ Has Subscription based Sales Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree holder
+ Great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work independently and collectively within a team
+ Strong focus on solution sales and selling on value
+ Commercially minded with a strong motivation to succeed in a high performing sales team
+ Customer-focused mindset
+ Highly self-motivated, energetic individual who builds strong relationships quickly
+ Must be willing to work on a graveyard-shift schedule
Additional for internal applicants:
+ Must be in current role for 1 year
+ Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
+ Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 month
+ Must have a Successful or above rating in the last Enabling Performance cycle
