Job Description Job Purpose The Relationship Manager (RM), is focused on ensuring that clients are getting value from IDS' proposition. It is important that the RM clearly understands the respective clients use case(s) and ensures that services are set up to meet their client's requirement(s). In order to effectively achieve this, the RM needs to develop trust based and value-added relationships with their key contacts. The RM needs to develop an understanding of the client's business, their key initiatives and business challenges. In addition to managing/maintaining the current revenue base, the RM is also expected to identify new business opportunities (both within ICE Data Services - IDS - as well as across the wider ICE organization i.e. the Exchange and Clearing divisions) and to refer them to the appropriate Sales Manager / Sales Specialist. Responsibilities Work within a team of Relationship Managers on a pooled allocation basis, to service FIDS clients across multiple business lines. Establish and build new contact relationships within appropriate financial institutions. Overall relationship management focused on ensuring clients are getting value from our services. Manage expectations on current services and/or any changes to those services which may not result in a financial impact to the customer or FIDS Acquire in depth understanding of client use cases to ensure services are set up to meet clients requirements Join efforts on contract re-negotiations, identifying uptick/downtick and executing appropriately Proactively track and manage erosions, accounts at risk to prevent/ reduce erosion. Proactively manage and support top tier accounts (within group) holding regular meetings/ calls with key stake holders as required. Knowledge and Experience Strong knowledge of the financial markets, supported by relevant sector related qualifications. Previous experience within the Financial Markets industry. Proven Record within an Account Management/ Relationship Management/ Client success role. Strong commercial and business acumen bundled with a strong presentation and inter-personal skills. Previous experience with managing complex contract renewal-cycles is desirable Strong presentation and inter-personal skills. Strong team working ability, able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other team members. Previous Derivatives/Connectivity/ Pricing and Reference Data knowledge is an advantage Strong ability to effectively work under pressure and strong capability to prioritise. Language requirements: proficiency in English, Mandarin is a plus. Well-developed IT skills, especially MS PowerPoint & Excel. Salesforce knowledge is desirable.
