Relationship Manager
Summary This position is a member of the overall support of the Shields Cattau Financial Group. It functions at many different levels, but there is one focus. The focus is to implement processes that will keep our clients in regular communication with us and reflect our values of gratitude and thankfulness while engaging clients and forming relationships for new business. This is an in-office position. Compensation is $31-33/hr with benefits that include: medical, disability, life, 401K, PTO, and holiday pay. This position has an immediate growth track to obtain CA Life, Health, Annuity licensing in the first 2 months of employment and then work to complete FINRA SIE, 7, 66 exams within first year. Job Description Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities + Ensure office equipment functions properly; Ring Central, copy machine, Nespresso machine, office lights, refrigerator water filter, soda carbonation tank, and any item required by staff to support and assist. This includes office and kitchen supplies. + Welcome clients when they come to the office and have client information forms ready to confirm contact information, try to connect to Facebook, ask about Action Teams, and discuss Thrivent’s Choice Dollar program. + Partner with Office Manager to execute the completion of quarterly client birthday gifts; Run A, B, C client report, partner with Mrs. Field’s to ensure birthday cookie tins are mailed timely/correct, and complete gift log for compliance. This includes Christmas gifts for A clients only. + Calendar all Thrivent Community and Marketing events to ensure timely advertising; required advertising via Storefront/social media/Email Playground/phone calls. Preparation of events (TComm, workshops, Action Teams, etc.). The purpose of these events is to serve our clients, encourage attendance of prospects, and be the example of living generously. + Responsible for ordering all marketing/office material from Storefront, Thrivent Order System, and custom orders (Save the Dates, invitations, church bulletins, etc.). + Management of campaigns per event (create individual campaigns in Salesforce, manage sign in sheets to upload/manually enter attendees, and complete the campaigns for required reporting to home office. + Financial reporting to home office for both TComm (twice per year) and Marketing (each quarter). + Oversight and management of all social media and the Shields Cattau Financial Groups webpage. + Assist, arrange, and attend the Shields Cattau Financial Group Strategic Team meetings. + Point-person for client birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. + Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications + Previous administrative/secretarial/marketing experience desired + Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions + Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information + Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial Competencies + Planning/Organizing + Customer Focus + Communication + Interpersonal Skills + Teamwork and Collaboration + Adaptability/Flexibility External/Internal Dependencies + Must be able to work with all roles of the practice + Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients + Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations As part of Shields Cattau Financial Group's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
