Overall Purpose of the Job
Main responsibilities are in the area of business promotion / administrative assistance to Relationship Managers and Director of the Japanese Corporate Banking Division for EMEA (Central & Eastern Europe) within Vienna Branch to achieve business growth in accordance with predetermined procedures and standards under appropriate guidance and direction.
Function positioning
The function is available in the Japanese Corporate Banking Division for EMEA (Central & Eastern Europe) (CBD) Team Vienna Branch which consists of 6 Relationship Manager’s and 3 assistants (including this position) who all report to the Director, Department Head (DH) of Japanese Corporate Banking Division for EMEA (Central & Eastern Europe) in Vienna. This position reports to DH of CBD and in his absence to the Managing Director, Head of Vienna branch / Head of CBD.
The role includes the following:
Execute various tasks and/or instructions given by the Relationship Managers, DH of CBD or Head of CBD in respect of business expansion in the region with leveraging the strength of MUFG brand, one of the most significant global financial institutions.
Respond to customer enquiries by phone and/or email, resolve issues satisfactorily, referring matters to colleagues as appropriate.
Ensure professional standard of customer communication and proactive approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
Make proactive approach/contact with clients to provide the best financial services among peers with exceeding client’s expectations.
Conduct business promotions with Relationship Managers thru day to day communications with clients, information available within the organization.
Accurate processing of specific transactions such as loans, deposits or foreign exchange transactions according internal processes and policies
Create instruction sheets for system input and handle various operational tasks
Delivery/Control of documents to/with relevant departments
Ensure timely processing of reporting requirements
Adapt to and identify changes in systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement.
Contribute to the completion of the team’s workload.
Ensure compliance with the Bank’s rules, policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:
Strong educational background or a first work experience in finance – you have a solid financial knowledge and understanding/experience of the bank business, policies, rules and guidelines
Strong knowledge of MS Office Package especially excel is essential
Excellent customer communication skills
Verbal and written communication skills in English is essential
