Release Manager

Responsibilities + For EDB/IVM Product to accomplish its project operations and maintenance activities, it is required to have AITC support on operations management, scheduling coordination, production implementation, patch release, and Bug/Issue resolutions. These are critical technical support for the EDB/IVM product operations. EDB/IVM product cannot accomplish its establish project goals and objectives without the AITC Support. + Add change orders and requests in Service Desk Manager (SDM) with configuration items identified. + Add change orders/requests with Resource Estimates to Project Schedule. + Control deployment of hardware/software into production. + Create Service requests areas and change order categories for the project. + Create/package Builds including Change Orders. + Ensure resources or their backups are available for deployment. + Ensure that master copies of software are secure and indexed in a definitive software library and that the configuration management database (CMDB) is updated. + Implement software of hardware in the operations environment via the controlling processes of ITIL Configuration Management. + Document outstanding workarounds and defects. + Ensure releases are scheduled and submitted to the EO Release Calendar. + Plan and oversee rollout of software and related hardware. + Set up activities in Primavera (labor tracking). + Update status of activities on Project Schedule. + Application budget review and analysis. Qualifications + General knowledge of IT Technology and VA business services. + Software development life cycle, including testing, change management tracking, and documentation. + Familiar with ITIL roles: Configuration Management, Change Management, Release Management. + Familiar with project management procedures. Education: + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent PLUS 10 Years of experience + Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Clearance: + The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation Location: + Remote, USA + Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST) Pay Range: + The pay for this position ranges from $52,730 to $65,500 + The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location + Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses + TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
