Box is looking for an Integrations Developer - Workday to join our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you will be working with business leaders and collaborating with our Enterprise Systems team by utilizing your technical expertise and business insights. You will also be working closely with our People, Benefits & Payroll team to plan, design and build optimal solutions for our backend office systems and applications. An ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, communication, and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels or organizations, including Executive Management!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and coordinate all release management activities for Workday, including major, minor, and hotfix releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define release schedules, scope, and deployment plans. Oversee the testing, validation, and deployment of Workday updates and integrations, ensuring releases are executed smoothly and with minimal business disruption. Communicate release plans, progress, and risk assessments to key stakeholders. Support Workday SOX controls, ensuring proper documentation and evidence is provided for compliance audits. Assist in the testing and validation of Workday SOX controls to ensure they are functioning effectively and in alignment with compliance requirements. Work closely with the internal audit team to gather and provide necessary evidence for SOX audits. Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient Workday integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, finance, benefits, talent management). Leverage Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and other integration tools to create custom integrations, ensuring that data flows seamlessly between Workday and external systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Debug integration to fix it, coordinate and execute integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing to ensure the quality of integrations and releases. Ensure that all integrations are thoroughly tested before release, with a focus on data accuracy, security, and performance. Drive continuous improvement efforts for integration development and release management processes. Suggest and implement automation strategies to streamline testing, deployment, and monitoring activities. Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, release notes, and system configurations. Provide post-release support for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ensuring the smooth operation of Workday integrations. Support in preparing SOX evidence files and SOX testing Work closely with HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements for new integrations, and participate in the release planning process. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday integration and release management.

WHO YOU ARE

Over 5 years of experience in Workday integration development, specializing in Workday Studio, EIB Studio, Workday Web Services, and other integration tools. 3+ years of experience in release management, with a focus on Workday or other enterprise applications. Strong experience with Workday releases, updates, and configurations is highly preferred. Experience supporting Workday SOX controls, including providing evidence and assisting with testing. In-depth understanding of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.) and the release process for Workday. Experience working with Workday integrations and understanding their impact on release cycles is an advantage. Proficiency in Workday Integration tools (Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services). Strong knowledge of Workday’s integration architecture and its data models. Familiarity with integration testing methodologies and tools. Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, or Python is a plus. Knowledge of release management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Git) Preferred Skills 

Workday Certifications: Workday HCM, Workday Integrations, or Workday Reporting certifications.

Release Management Tools: Familiarity with release management platforms like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.

Agile or Scrum Experience: Previous experience working in an Agile development environment
