What You'll Do

You will be part of Cisco Unified Identity team. We provide the best common identity platform experience to our world-class customers using cisco products across Networking, Security and Collaboration. As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) you will be at the forefront of driving the flow of work across the organization, ensuring alignment with agile principles while navigating the unique challenges of a dynamic business environment.

Lead the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure alignment, effective planning, and on-time delivery of high-quality products. Balance execution with organizational goals, driving teams to meet business objectives.Identify and address organizational challenges that hinder team performance. Collaborate with leadership to remove roadblocks and foster an environment of continuous improvement.Coach teams to embrace change and agile principles, addressing resistance to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with agile practices.Hold teams accountable while providing support for successful delivery.Facilitate decentralized decision-making aligned with business goals.Apply deep agile knowledge to make informed decisions, prioritize high-impact work, and guide the ART toward long-term success.Act as the central communication hub across the ART, ensuring transparency and alignment among stakeholders through effective program-level ceremonies.Build Program plans with well managed dependencies and internal partner alignment in shared tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc).Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring active management of risks throughout and issue resolution.Well versed in running Program Increment (PI) Planning. Plan, execute, and follow up on PI events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and efficient resource allocationTrack and analyze key performance indicators, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement. Implement feedback mechanisms to promote self-assessment and growth.Mentor teams, Product Owners, and leadership, helping them refine agile practices and navigate cultural and operational shifts to achieve greater business agility.Who You'll Work With

You'll be collaborating with seasoned Release Train Engineers (RTE)/Agile Program Managers and interacting with Product owners and leadership across BUs. You will work closely with engineering teams and will act as a bridge between Product managers and execution teams.

Minimum Qualifications:BE/B.Tech or MS/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience as a Project/Program Manager or related roles3+ years of experience in Agile operation leadership and SAFe Agile3+ years of experience working with project planning tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, SmartSheet, MS Project)Proficiency in project management software and toolsPreferred Qualifications:Scaled Agile Consultant (SPC5 or 6) or Scaled Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification preferredStrong understanding of development processes and Agile methodologies with certifications preferred (CSM, RTE, etc)MBA preferredPMP or similar project management certification is a plus
