Release Train Lead

Job Summary

If you are a Release Train Leader (RTL) and looking for career opportunity, Emerson has and exciting offer to you! RTL will lead multiple scrum teams for one of the ongoing software development programs in Emerson.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) in planning and delivering program increments. Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) Facilitate ART practices and PI execution, including but not limited to PI readiness, SAFe events and summarize team PI Objectives into ART PI Objectives. Advance and track impediments, manage risk and ensure delivery of value and relentless improvement. Have focus on Continuous Improvement for the ART and steer the ART in the right direction. Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities by facilitating their estimations by teams. Collaborate with other Release Train Leaders to resolve cross-train dependencies and impediments. Work with Product Mgt. POs, and customers to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. Be an enabler, transformation agent and coach to the customers, Scrum leads and ART teams. Mentor teams in adopting agile attitudes and behaviours.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Experience with Agile project management tools and frameworks. In-depth understanding of Agile principles and practices. A person with a ‘Team First’ attitude, ability to build and sustain trust at all levels across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

MSc / BE / BTech (Computer / Electronics) SAFe RTE Certified with 2+ years working in SAFe environment as an RTE. Overall Experience of 10+ years in IT Industry
