We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in condition monitoring programs to join our Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, focusing on transforming our maintenance approach from reactive to condition based, ultimately improving equipment reliability and operational performance across our facilities.
This newly created role is an opportunity to join our team at this time and make a real impact in defining the global reliability program, ensuring our facilities are adopting world class maintenance methodologies.
In this role you will:
- Integrate the condition monitoring program processes into the North America maintenance strategy
- Implement and maintain condition monitoring programs, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasound testing
- Analyze data from multiple monitoring systems to identify potential equipment failures and deterioration patterns
- Develop predictive maintenance tasks based on condition monitoring results
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of equipment health monitoring procedures and strategies
- Deep dive root cause analysis on equipment failures using condition monitoring data
- Generate regular reports on program effectiveness
- Evaluate and recommend new condition monitoring technologies and tools
- Collaborate with reliability teams to integrate condition monitoring data into the overall asset management strategy
- Manage and support key vendor relationships for network-wide issues
- Provide technical guidance and decision-making for site related escalations of engineering issues and improvement requirements
- Be a key stakeholder in supporting Engineering teams with technical and major network support requests
- Manage and support multiple programs/projects across international regions
- Own project/program budgets, white papers, and finance funding requests
- Travel up to 50% internationally
Key job responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders to integrate condition monitoring programs and processes into new business units
- Own the deployment of strategies and solutions for condition monitoring programs in early product design and development
- Scale condition monitoring programs for industrial robotic arms and other automated/semi-automated technologies

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
