Reliability Engineer
Job Title: Reliability Engineer
Job Description

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment and conducting work safely within the plant. You will develop, implement, administer, refine, and maintain site-wide predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance team and manage mission-critical data for the site-wide CMMS (FIIX). Your role will involve analyzing areas needing improvement and developing reliability and maintainability solutions to overcome production challenges.

ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis to identify areas in need of improvement and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures affecting plant operations, capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance.Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset management plan including value-added preventative maintenance tasks.Ensure effective utilization of predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies to identify and isolate reliability problems.Select proper technology for all areas of the plant and ensure compliance with mechanical integrity regulatory requirements.Monitor equipment consistency, manage failures, determine root causes, and assess impacts on product quality, cost, and operational efficiency.Develop technical training programs for hourly maintenance personnel and supervision.Oversee modification of equipment to ensure maintenance considerations are incorporated into the design.Essential SkillsStrong understanding and ability to maintain and expand CMMS systems.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.Ability to conduct root cause analysis on chemical equipment.Knowledge of chemical safety and chemical manufacturing processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsPMP certification.Experience with PM Reports.Familiarity with Chemical Hygiene Plan.Understanding of liquid systems and chemical engineering.Work Environment

You will be working in a chemical manufacturing environment, with a schedule from Monday through Friday, 1st shift - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering some flexibility on start and end times. This role provides opportunities for growth and the potential to move into a leadership position as the current manager is retiring soon. The company is investing in capital to grow the business, creating a positive and dynamic work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
