Reliability Engineer
Job Title: Reliability Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer to develop and manage predictive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment availability and optimal cost. This role requires you to foster a reliability culture within the team, investigate new technologies for asset performance improvement, and utilize data analysis to identify and address potential problems. Responsibilities + Implement and manage predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment availability. + Create and manage a life cycle strategy to ensure equipment availability at optimal cost. + Develop the capability of self and team through training to foster a reliability culture. + Investigate, learn, and implement new or existing technologies to improve asset performance. + Utilize data analysis and customer feedback to identify potential problems and develop countermeasures to reduce impact on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environmental (SQCDME) factors. + Facilitate cross-functional team analysis activities to identify criticality, failure modes, and root causes to improve and sustain asset reliability. + Review equipment downtime reporting data to ensure completeness and accuracy. + Collaborate and communicate equipment activities with internal/external departments to understand change points and adopt best practices to improve equipment reliability. + Confirm spare parts accuracy and availability to achieve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) targets. + Support equipment specification design and acceptance to improve MTTR and MTBF characteristics. Essential Skills + Experience in reliability engineering and maintenance. + Strong skills in downtime analysis and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). + Proficiency in failure analysis and reliability engineering. + Engineering degree or equivalent experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to work with cross-functional teams. + Strong customer service attitude. + Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during shutdowns. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
