Reliability Engineer
Job Title: Reliability Engineer Summary:•This position is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance work with facility modification of the Ohta site. Responsibility includes process efficiencies, reliable engineering, project management support, supporting business growth with timely manner and the implementation of company policies/programs. •Good execution skills in daily reliability engineering including MRO tasks to support production team •Establish and maintain an open minded and trusted culture, which is in line with legal requirements as well as internal regulations and which is accepted on site •Maintenance short term work with engineering upgrade via reliable engineering work by defect meeting and FMEA •Timely maintenance work to support stable operation for routine products •MCRS meeting with SIOP and Production team to fix the maintenance schedule Responsibilities Include: EHS Ensures safety for production support and facility modification at Ohta Site to cope with global & Ohta local initiatives and local regulatory. Ensure all requirements of Momentive’s EHS Management System are incompliant in responsible area. Responsible for site compliance of EHS regulations and requirements for both internally and externally for installation/modification of site facilities and production process. Responsible for Safety on EHS & maintenance modification works not limited to MPM employees but also contractors, vendors and any other person at work in Ohta site. Identify and prioritize environmental improvement opportunities. Build up short term programs based on EHS requirement to meet existing facility and process Compliance Ensures production support and facility maintenance & modification at Ohta Site in Compliance with Local Law and Momentive Internal Regulations Ensure operation within boundaries of existing permits Build sustainable and trusted Relationship to Permitting Authorities. (Firefighting office, Labor office etc) Build sustainable & trust Relationship to Ohta management Team Ensure proper Documentation for Site (e.g. Permits, MOC Process) Ensure trainings of compliance / Integrity are delivered to the team Operations Reliable engineering Execute maintenance work with communication to operations and SIOP team Create maintenance cycle for critical equipment Create plan and execute with other functions for PSM/MI Responsible for short term design of automation for labor productivity improvement when it need to upgrade by maintenance work Build up short term programs by daily EHS and maintenance issue based on defect meeting etc. SAP PM work to ensure preventive maintenance based on Reliable Engineering Plan to make purchasing schedule of spare parts Upgrade existing facility under automation concept by maintenance work and support it by stabilization Co-work with other engineering teams and field operation team to ensure stable operation under EHS excellence Plant Productivity Develop capacity and MRO budgets and deliver results at or below targets. Identify and implement cost reduction and maintenance productivity improvement projects. Monitor all engineering/MRO costs, and explain adjustments and variances. Proactively address the root cause and build action plans for these areas. Control inventory reporting and levels to meet objectives. Communications Communication within Site and with outside vendors/customers Communication with other functions and outside vendors related with maintenance work Cost Controlling Responsibility of Cost of short term EHS and maintenance work related with notifications Controlling for Identifying / Executing / Maintaining / GAP Analysis of budget for Capital investment cost with MI Leader Qualifications: The following are required for the role + Bachelor or Master Degree holder subjects in mechanical Engineering or Electrical.
