Summary: Seeking a Reliability Engineer with experience in aviation manufacturing to mitigate reliability risks, improve processes and outcomes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's/Technical and/or advanced degree(s) in engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in aviation manufacturing with experience in a reliability role, relating to design and manufacture of products.
Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, engineering standards, tools, and protocols.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Project management experience.
Training in Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification.
Responsibilities:
Use problem-solving techniques and data analysis methodologies to resolve reliability risks.
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing processes to understand reliability failures/issues and develop mitigation plans.
Identify production issues to evaluate and support root cause corrective actions to improve processes and outcomes.
Monitor and document production issues and field performance data to identify potential systemic issues affecting customer satisfaction.
Collect, document, maintain customer quality & reliability metrics; prepare & present accurate/timely reports.
