This position offers a hybrid work schedule (M-W in the office and Thur-Fri remote). It is also eligible for a 9/80 work schedule and METRO transportation/parking benefits.
Kinder Morgan is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer to support the KM Asset Management Program . Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience with rotating equipment in petroleum, natural gas, or petrochemical industry required; 7 years+ preferred.Familiarity and understanding of the OSHA 1910.119 PSM and EPA 29 CFR Part 68 Risk Management Standards with emphasis on Mechanical Integrity requirements.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, Microsoft Outlook, and CMMS software.Strong presentation and report writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface with a diverse range of personnel with varying disciplines, backgrounds, and experience levels.Strong customer focus in dealing with Project Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Operations, Contractors, Suppliers, and other internal and external groups.Ability to develop, read, and interpret mechanical blueprints and diagrams, including flow charts, cause/effect diagrams, and Piping and Instrument Drawings (P&ID’s).Candidate should be knowledgeable reliability best practices/methodologies.
