The Reliability Engineer is part of a team reporting to the Sr. Mill Maintenance Engineer.
This position is located in Lanigan, SK, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
Management of online vibration sensors and data, ensuring all platforms (ie. Machine Works, PI Vision, Inmation, etc.) are kept up to date and displaying critical reliability data Monitor asset reliability through vibration data collection and analysis, thermography, and ultrasound Recommend asset changeouts for mill outages and advise project teams on scope to ensure asset problems are addressed Create and update equipment health and performance reports Manage lubrication of assets by updating lubrication routes, managing oil specifications and uses on site Provide technical support for maintenance/reliability work orders and support for internal projects Assist with commissioning of new field instrumentation and data gathering processes Support continuous improvement culture by identifying and providing recommendations for long-term bad actors Responsible for management of reliability documents and processes for sustainability, standardization and maintenance of master dataWhat you will bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan 2-4 years’ experience in a reliability/maintenance engineering team based environment would be considered an asset Desire to gain experience, knowledge and understanding of basic maintenance principles, PMs, PdMs, BoMs, ODR, etc. MMP or CMRP would be considered an asset CAT I Vibration Analysis is considered an asset Experience utilizing Emerson Machine Works, Machinery Health Management, and related data collection hardware such as 2140’s considered a strong asset Related experience in potash or industrial setting is considered a strong asset Demonstrated positive safety behavior and safety leadership; a high level of commitment to creating a safe working environment Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential. Ability to effectively communicate in a professional setting with a diverse group Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, make decisions, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively Effective troubleshooting skills - analytical, critical thinking and problem solving
