Role Details:
Reporting to the Superintendent: Maintenance Underground, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of operational and strategic targets through the identification, coordination, and management of departmental projects, including the review and implementation of improved reliability and availability of the fleet, ensuring maximum return and long-term sustainability.

This role is offered either Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region on 4 days on and 3 days off, or a variation of.

About the role:
Enhance the capability of the company to consistently achieve mining production and development targets in alignment with legislative and site requirements by applying knowledge and skills in the analysis of maintenance projects that are well-researched, fit for purpose and cost effective
Collaborating with maintenance teams to develop proactive maintenance strategies that enhance asset reliability
Ensure consistency and transferability of technical work ensuring that design intent is implemented in an efficient and cost-effective manner and that there is a satisfactory interface with other applicable systems
Develop and utilise quality reliability reports that assist in the analysis of data ensuring timely identification of critical areas of concern and ensuring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Liaising with stakeholders internal and external to the organisation ensuring long-term sustainability of the operation by investigating potential areas where reliability can be increased performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and recommending corrective action
About you:
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrated experience with mobile Mining Equipment management and associated technologies
Demonstrated level of competency in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
Good working knowledge of FMECA and Root Cause Analysis
Hands-on approach for developing failure mode and effects analysis processes for new and existing assets
A working understanding of condition monitoring systems
