Seeking an individual to support Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability activities for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Programs. The selected individual will support Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability activities for Production, Development, and Sustainment efforts on the JASSM and LRASM Programs. Typical duties include:
• Performing Reliability Analyses (Allocations, Predictions, FMECAs, BIT Architecture Development and Effectivity Analysis, FRACAS, etc.)
• Executing Reliability Test activities (HALT, Accelerated Aging, HASS Development/Safety of HASS, Etc.) to include development of test plans/procedures, preparing and presenting Test Readiness review charts to program management and customers, and preparing test reports.
• Developing, coordinating and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments constructs.
• Interfacing with multi-disciplined / cross-functional teams to influence design for Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability.
• Participating in detailed design activities, technical interchange meetings, program reviews, and supplier support.
• Review of Specifications, Drawings, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and supporting Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
• Supporting design reviews and test activities, as required
• Supporting failure investigations and root cause/corrective action identification as a part of multi-disciplined / cross-functional team
Required Experience:
o Must have at least 3 years of previous experience with FRACAS Analysis process and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
o Must have at least 3 years of previous experience with Reliability Prediction Analysis using Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/Relex or like Software.
o Must have at least 3 years of previous experience with Reliability FMECA Process/Analysis including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
o Must have at least 3 years of previous experience with Reliability Testing (HALT, Accelerated Aging, Accelerated Life Testing, Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, etc)
o BIT Development and BIT Effectivity Analysis
• Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Candidate should be an analytical thinker with demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
• Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with limited direction and interface well with other program disciplines.
• Experience collaborating with and working in conjunction with other functions and engineering groups to achieve desirable results
• Ability to communicate, effectively interface and influence multiple levels of executives and a broad range of internal and external customers
• Experience with Missile Systems and/or Fire control systems
• Strong technical background with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering or engineering Technology fields, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or a related Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of Reliability Engineering design practices.
• Knowledge of Supportability Engineering practices.
• Prior experience in one or more area of reliability
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret Clearance with Investigation in past 5 years.
• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
• Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and customers
• System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
• Experience using Windchill Risk and Reliability.
• Experience in Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), Accelerated Aging, and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) testing development and execution.
• Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
• Experience with Missile Systems.
