Reliability Engineer

Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that can affect asset reliability, reducing the costs associated with asset downtime, and continuously developing life cycle asset management plans. This critical and dynamic position requires constant collaboration with other professionals and a deep understanding of engineering principles and specific systems used within the organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct failure mode and effects analysisPerform predictive analysisPlan performance evaluation assessmentsConduct root cause analysisDevelop proactive maintenance proceduresReview newly installed plant and equipmentCreate and monitor life cycle asset management plansAssist in design and development planning for custom assetsProvide technical supportMonitor overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)Analyze data to identify patterns and potential problems or opportunities for improvementEssential SkillsMechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferredMinimum of 5 years in a reliability program roleStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsTechnical aptitude with a strong understanding of systems, equipment, and processesExcellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectivelyProficient in project management, including planning, scheduling, and organizingData management skills, including the use of statistical analysis tools and the ability to interpret resultsContinuous improvement mindsetAdditional Skills & QualificationsSafety-conscious with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazardsWork Environment

The work environment is a heavy industrial setting that employs approximately 2,000 people with diverse skills and educational backgrounds. Positions in the Engineering, Maintenance, and Technical departments often require degrees in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
