Provide leadership to the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering Departments which provides reliability maintenance and engineering services to safely meet the Tennessee Operations business plan. Oversee the coordination of engineering and maintenance projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations and related bid meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project close-out. Oversee Engineering assistance to EHS, production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective. Oversee Plant’s Capital and Major Maintenance spending plans to utilize all available authorized funds. Supervision of Plant Engineering, Construction Engineering, Furnace Maintenance Engineering, Contracted Engineering Services, Reliability Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance teams. Insure that teams are meeting defined goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Throughput, Cost, and Profit to achieve project success for all the projects assigned to them and referenced in the department goals.
