Job DescriptionJob Title: Reliability Specialist I

About the role:
Responsible for improving the reliability of site wide instrumentation and electrical installations by applying principles of Reliability Centered Maintenance. Apply Root Cause Analysis methodologies to improve instrumentation and electrical installations that support manufacturing operations in a dynamic, fast-paced cGMP, biotechnology environment. Measure reliability performance and demonstrate success of improvements. Manage reliability driven actions that require independent and/or collaborative judgment. Demonstrate ability as technical advisor to projects.
How you will contribute:
Accountable and Responsible for Change Control as Change owner, reliability OOT quality deviation, Manage calibration strategy, assessment, and PM Optimization
Accountable and Responsible for Quality deviation which related to maintenance and reliability engineering.
Responsible as a overall Reliability KPI dashboard owner and progressive improvement on the plant performance update.
Support project design, construction, and commissioning through active involvement in commissioning activities; discuss equipment improvement and modifications with maintenance Supervisors/Engineers.
Confirm and verify equipment performance by designing feasibility inspection and testing methods, testing properties and equipment monitoring parameters.
Ensure smooth equipment operation by close monitoring of the equipment conditions. Carrying out failure root cause analysis aim to increase product quality and reduce waste for plant facilities and utilities services.
Leading predictive maintenance programs by generating inspection reports and statistics; inspecting equipment for conformance with operational standards/cGMP for plant equipment & facilities.
Identify in-process equipment/system conditions by collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting operational data, judging equipment reliability/acceptability in comparison to specifications, notifying any equipment defect and deterioration conditions that require attention.
Maintaining good working relations with team by working closely with Supervisors in consultation with the team to resolve any issues.
Determine acceptability of equipment rework/installation by conducting inspections of reworked equipment and new installation job.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
To represent Site Engineering and the plant in all internal and external audits
Possess front end technical knowledge in relevant areas such as electrical and controls engineering in relation to manufacturing systems as well as biopharmaceutical’s regulatory requirements.
Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.

What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
Diploma with Experience of at least 5 years or An Engineering Degree with more than 5 years experience at in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electromechanical or MEchanical is required
Minimum 2 years of reliability experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment Knowledge on Reliability Maintenance Programs and familiar with Predictive/Conditioning techniques and technologies
Excellent knowledge in operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment; working experience in Biopharma equipment such as chromatography skid, ultrafiltration skid, bioreactor, CIP skid and etc will be an advantage.
Possess proficient computer skills and experienced in using MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), MS Project and statistical tools i.e. Minitab, PI Databook is preferred
