Position: Relief Care Worker
Location: Killeshin Residential Service, Co. Sligo
Fixed-term Contract (12 months), Variable Hours
Job Purpose
To promote the development of independent living skills, and to assist service users in their daily living within a supported accommodation service; ensuring their safety and well – being at all times.
Minimum Education & Skills required
Minimum QQI Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent. Full clean drivers licence essential. Minimum 2 years previous experience of working with people with a disability. A clear understanding of the philosophy of independent living and community integration. Experience of facilitating a person centred plan.
