THE JOB:

As a Cook, you will expertly apply your culinary skills to create outstanding dishes. Beyond the kitchen, you'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience with your warm smile and exceptional service. By understanding each guest's unique needs and stories, you'll take ownership of their experience, crafting WOW memories that they will cherish long after their stay with us.


STARTING RATE: $24.885 an hour


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Culinary expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of food products and expertly apply culinary techniques.

Preparation skills: Develop and maintain solid skills in preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups.

Menu knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the menu with careful attention to plate presentation.

Kitchen equipment: Safely identify and operate kitchen equipment.

Sanitation standards: Properly label, date, and store products to ensure safekeeping and hygiene.

Inventory management: Efficiently restock kitchen supplies and food items needed for service.

Service execution: Assist kitchen leadership and staff in delivering a seamless service.

Team collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, addressing guest needs and inquiries.

Perform Additional Duties: Carry out other job-related duties as required, supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the kitchen.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Work Schedule: Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Previous cook experience: Skilled in culinary techniques with a solid background in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Strong kitchen knowledge: Proficient in using kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Team-oriented: Works well with staff, supports leadership, and addresses guest needs with excellent communication.
