Job Summary

The Relief Kitchen Helper will assist the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents of the Vista Park Retirement Community. This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, washing dishes, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Key Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and clean kitchen equipment Assist with serving meals to residents Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in a kitchen preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Application Process
