**John Deere Reman: Production Support** This position will be utilized to fill various production support roles for John Deere Reman, located in Springfield, MO. Employees will work in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. The production floor is a busy, high-energy environment with machinery and equipment in operation. The work may involve exposure to noise, heat, and other environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing setting which may include working in non-temperature-controlled environments. Job details are dependent on duties assigned, but in general consist of the following: + Perform various assembly, parts cleaning, and paint related tasks; including but not limited to: + Assemble / disassemble parts or components to specification. + Reading and comprehension of work instructions to follow established procedures. + Cleaning, crimping, connecting lead wires, securing subassemblies, and basic disassembly of core. + Checking results for conformance to specifications and making necessary corrections. May require use of precision measuring equipment. + Operation of spin blast, tumbler, typhoon, zinc blaster, and media blaster cabinets. + Use of various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages. + Utilization of manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. + Perform various material handling tasking; including but not limited to: + Operating power-driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment. + Inspection of parts verifying specifications are acceptable. + Stocking / picking raw materials to support production teams. + Reading Bill of Material (B.O.M) to determine alternate uses and identify slow- moving material. + Distributing and maintaining inventory across production facility. + Assist and support other team members. + Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. _Operations occur on 1_ _st_ _and 2_ _nd_ _shifts. This posting will be used to fill openings on either shift, subject to facility needs at the time._ **_Candidates must be available to work either shift to be considered._** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Must have at least one of the following: + High School Diploma or G.E.D. + National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) + At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience + Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and performing of repetitive actions. + Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends). **Preferred Qualifications (What Makes You Stand Out):** + At least 1 or more years working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment in a production support or material handling role. **Why Work at John Deere?
